Susan's Continued Journey to CRM part 3

So I’m still moving forward. This week I’m at ARMA Infocon 2024. We are surrounded by the elite in Records and Information Management/Information Governance. There is a lot of information on AI and other forward-thinking technologies but there is also a lot of information on the basics including how to create a records retention schedule and how to market your records program to the leadership of your organization. I am very glad I took advantage of the opportunity to come to this once a year three-day event. I was also able to take advantage of a new addition to the Infocon schedule, a two-day pre-conference course entitled “Essentials of RIM.” This class in particular is going to assist me on my journey. It was an extra cost but as I have been saying, I am going to apply for the ARMA Keystone Chapter’s Lisa A. Broaddus scholarship fund to offset some of the cost.
