April 16, 2026 Tour of The Philadelphia City Archives

Many thanks to The Philadelphia City Archives for a fabulous tour. ARMA Keystone is always grateful for The Archives’ willingness to share its knowledge and show us some fascinating pieces of history from the original City Charter to Al Capone’s indictment on gun charges to the amazing interactive mural entitled “Charting a Path to Resistance” by artist Talia Greene that runs through two rooms of the facility and highlights the history of housing discrimination and racial inequality in the City. Special thanks to Deputy Commissioner Tracey Williams and Archivists Josh Blay and Theresa Condon for leading our tour and, of course, to Commissioner James Leonard for letting us invade again!
